overhead shot of a hand-cranked circular sock knitting machine

This is my Griswold circular sock knitting machine. It was used by H. Flanders and Co. Ltd., Belper, from 1921 until the company was closed for the duration of the second world war.

Having been lovingly restored to working condition, I have put it to use once more. It is such a delight.
